The ornamental sweet potato is a much more colorful and vibrant cousin in the regular edible sweet potato. Purple spotted foliage the entire plant is edible. Best grown in USDA hardiness zone 8B – 11. These potato vines love sun and heat. Best in well drained soil and watered regularly.
